Your photo. Your choice.

Privacy & how it works

Photos are processed in your browser. Living Murals does not upload, collect or store the photos you take with this photo booth. Photos you save stay on your device; sharing sends them to the service you choose.

This notice describes the browser photo tools, optional Google Analytics and optional newsletter on livingmuralsart.com. Other apps, email services and sharing destinations have their own policies.

While the camera is on

The camera starts only after you choose Start camera and allow your browser’s permission request. The feature uses video, not your microphone. Camera frames and person-separation masks are processed locally in browser memory using MediaPipe. Frames are passed to a worker in the same browser, not uploaded to a photo-processing service.

The page downloads its artwork, processing code and model files from this website. Those downloads do not contain your camera pictures.

When you take a photo

The browser combines the chosen backdrop with your camera image and adds the small Living Murals logo shown in the preview. It creates a JPEG and a temporary local image address so you can preview, save or share it. The photo booth does not write your photo to a Living Murals account, server, database, browser local storage or IndexedDB.

Temporary image data is held by your browser while you use the page. Retaking or changing the scene clears the previous saved result from the app; leaving the page stops the camera and releases its temporary image link. Your browser manages its own memory and page history.

When you save or share

Saving is your choice. Save / share uses your device’s share sheet when supported; Download file requests a local download; Open photo lets you use your browser’s image-saving tools. The website cannot confirm where a file was saved.

Files you save, your photo library and any device or cloud backups are controlled by you and those services. Sharing sends the photo to the app or recipient you choose, under that destination’s policies. If you separately choose to email a photo to Michael, that email and attachment are received through email; the photo booth itself does not send them automatically.

Website delivery and technical information

Photo non-retention does not mean the website makes no network requests or keeps no operational information. Cloudflare delivers this website and may process request and performance information, such as network addresses and browser details, for delivery, security or diagnostics. A Cloudflare performance-script reference has been observed on the live site. This is separate from the photo-booth processing described above; the photo-booth code does not include camera frames or captured photos in those requests.

We have not added advertising pixels, a marketing analytics service, a signup requirement or an automatic photo-upload endpoint to this capture feature. Following external links, using a share destination or sending email involves the service you choose.

About the examples and results

Homepage demonstration images are generated illustrations of the idea, not real customer photos or captured-camera proof. Their screen artwork illustrates the offered backgrounds, but a finished photo is not guaranteed to match a mockup exactly.

Photo quality and background separation vary with device, browser, lighting, clothing, hair, hands and framing. The photo booth replaces the camera background; it does not scan your room, create physical decorations or provide floor-anchored 3D placement. Use the preview to check your picture before saving. See the photo tips for practical help.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics. Decline leaves every free tool available. Your browser stores a small local preference to remember that choice until you change it or clear browser storage; this preference is separate from analytics cookies.

If you allow it, we send one page-view measurement per page load to Google Analytics, including a clean public page address and title, a permitted same-site referrer, and basic browser, device and network information. We remove query strings and fragments, use fixed public page paths and titles, and do not send external referrers or campaign URL parameters. Google may set first-party session analytics cookies after you allow it and derive standard session or engagement statistics from these technical measurements. We do not enable advertising features or add tracking for forms, camera use, captures, saving or sharing. Photos, videos, form contents, names and email addresses are not part of these analytics measurements.

Use Change / withdraw analytics on any page and choose Decline to stop future Google collection and remove our accessible Google Analytics cookies. This does not erase information Google already received. If your browser cannot save the preference, it applies only to the current page. See Google’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

This choice controls Google Analytics only. Cloudflare still delivers the site and may process operational and usage information as described above. Newsletter signup remains separate and voluntary.

Optional newsletter

If you choose to sign up for theme updates, the signup link opens a form hosted by Brevo. Brevo processes the email address and consent choice you submit, together with your subscription status, so Living Murals can send updates about new free themes. The form asks for email only; signing up is optional and is not required to use the free photo tools.

We use double opt-in: follow the confirmation link in the email to complete your subscription. You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails or email Michael to request removal. Newsletter signup is separate from the camera features. Camera photos and videos stay in your browser unless you choose to save or share them; they are not sent to Brevo by these tools.

Sharing your creations & using the artwork

Enjoy Living Murals for your personal or business celebrations. You may save and share the photos and videos you create, including with family, friends and on social media. Please keep the Living Murals mark visible.

The downloadable design assets are provided to make the experience work in your browser. Please do not repackage or resell our asset collections, or offer them as a competing template or stock-art library. Contact us about commercial asset licensing or custom event designs.
